New website with new classes!

Have you checked out the website lately?  It has a new look to go with the store's new look!

And did you know the store has an etsy shop?  We'll be adding a tab for that later this week.

Finally - we will be adding a tab for "Special Events" and we're sure you'll want to check that often to see what's going on in the store!

Spring Fling!!

Who's ready for spring?  Colleen and Jen have redecorated the store window once again and this is their version of Spring Fling!!!  (Are you getting used to the idea that the store window is changing all the time?)

 We're expanding and growing.  Know anyone who has a doll that needs to be repaired, cleaned, fixed up?  We are offering those services.  Teddy Bear repair, too!  But check out the cute doll and bear cards that are for sale.  Cards for any occasion available in the store.

bikes and tricycles and layouts that match!  Did you know there are custom made layouts in the store for sale? Single and 2-page layouts....all you have to do is add the photos.  How easy is that?

Carolyn and Fay have been busy making custom tags and embellishments using the Julie Nutting stamps which are just adorable.  Their work is simply amazing.  If you have art for sale, come in on the weekend and talk to Rhonda about the possibility of selling your art in the store.

Spring is a time for fairies and bunnies, flowers and friends, chicks and more.  We hope that when you look into our window - you will want to come inside and play!!!

Speaking of playing.... have you see our class calendar?  Oh my goodness!  We are offering so many classes - and not just scrapbooking!  Click above to see the calendar for the rest of this month and click here to see the class descriptions.  We're working on getting March posted this week!

And that's not all.....starting tomorrow, Friday, Feb 21 - this is our "Love Letters" crop weekend.  FREE crop!  Friday it's  5 pm - midnight.  Saturday and Sunday we're here from 9 am - 5 pm.  And usually in the evenings, we all go out to dinner at a local restaurant.  Hope that you will come and play with us this weekend and check out our Spring Fling window!

Ho! Ho! Ho!

You'd think Santa just arrived....look at all the new product that came in this week!!!

Valentine's day has come and gone, the candy's been eaten and now we've filled the glass totems with beads!  Yep - beads!!  We're going to be teaching jewelry classes, so we're adding beads and in a few days, we'll have jewelry findings and more in the store!

And...in case you miss a class, you can now purchase the class kit!  WOW!  And this Butterfly Garden card kit is wonderful!

A whole lot of Stickles glitters came in this week - in every color of the rainbow!

Tomorrow, Thursday, Feb 20 is going to be a busy day.  Jen will be in the store all day and if you have questions about how to use Spellbinder's Grand Calibur, she will have hers in the store and be happy to show you how to use it.  Want one?  You can order it and get 10% off the price!  Have questions about Spellbinder's dies?  Come ask!  Pack a brown bag lunch and pop into the store on your lunch break and play with Jen!

Tomorrow evening is our monthly Backroom Babes night.  Judi, Rhonda and Jen are going to be covering alcohol based markers including the new Ranger distress markers and Copic markers.  Feel free to come ask all your questions, learn what you can and play along if you own the product.  It's always free and we have pizza first (please remember to make a donation for the pizza!)

Sometime tomorrow, we'll blog the new windows!  Yep, Colleen & Jen spent today taking down the Valentine's decor and putting up their idea of "Spring Fling!"  Hope you'll stop by and take a look!

Come in and see our NEW look!!!

If you haven't been in the store in the past couple of weeks, you are in for a great surprise!  We've "remodeled"!!!

We now have a WALL of paper!!!  Did you know we had this many paper racks in the store???  The small triangle out front is all the white, black, brown, tan, cream paper - plus specialty papers like glitter, glitz, etc.

We've moved the cash register and added a small demo table out front.  Want to see how something is done?  Come in on Thursdays and Jen will be happy to demo most anything for you!

We've moved all the embellishments down the long hall.  And we're not done with this yet...more changes coming in the near future!  Be sure to stop and check out all the layouts on the walls - hope they inspire you to be even more creative!

We've added shelves to display product - trying to get as much as we can up to where you can easily see it and find what you want.  Note the classes board - filling up fast!  Click here to see what's scheduled.  We will be working on March's calendar this weekend, so if you are interested in teaching ANY kind of art related class (sewing, decoupage, glass, wood, leather) come see us this weekend!  On top of the shelves are art projects and class samples....so much to look at!!!

We've added a few things to jog your memory.....after all, that's our name - Design u'r Memories!  And yes, the hoosier has a flour bin that is intact and in perfect working order!  But look close....we keep our flowers in the "flower" bin!!!

Did you know the store had so much ribbon?  And we've added a new rack since this photo was taken yesterday morning!  And how about that adorable hand-painted kids table?  What's that there for?  Well, we are going to start an American Girl Doll club for kids and maybe a Build-a-bear club as well.  They can come do a craft, have a cupcake and more!  Forget the kids - who wants a doll & bear club for grown-ups???  :o)
